How much coffee ground for an espresso machine do I use in a drip machine

It wo not work .the filter will get plugged up and it will run over the top before it drains into your coffee pot.just take it back and buy the right stuff

My friend in Florida wife is used to make the Puerto Rican espresso in a coffee maker, I glass will keep you going all day, for 1 cup of coffee, 1 scoop for each cup.

She use to put liquid Coffee-Mate in it it was grey more than light brown, but just remember you will become addicted to it, as the buzz is not the same as regular coffee.

I would say temper it to ur taste, but definitely use less. because the coffee is ground finer there is more surface area exposed to the water so more flavor is extracted from the coffee. depending on the coffee & ur personal taste this can be a good or bad thing. it most likely will make ur coffee taste bitter since the grinds r in contact with water for a longer time than if u were brewing it with an espresso maker. I would either get a stove top espresso maker (relatively cheap) or junk that coffee & get something ground for ur type of machine. Ideally, u will get ur best cup of coffee if u buy whole beans & get a grinder & grind just what u need right before u brew it.

I would not use espresso grind to brew regular coffee.it is going to taste terrible (bitter)-----------------------------------------------------

I would definitely start with half but, be careful. The finer grounds may actually plug the drip machine is filter and cause it to overflow.
